Family Volunteer Day with BVSD in the Greenhouse
Did you know that BVSD has its own greenhouse? Thousands of plants are grown to help support schools, students and their families in creating a garden and growing their own food throughout the summer. Each week since January, volunteers have been working in the greenhouse to help get the plants started. On Saturday, February 23rd, from noon-2 pm, they are asking for your help. Adults and children (ages 5+) are invited to mix soil, plant seeds, weed, transplant, prune, and water. Green thumb not required!
