Sorry it’s been awhile since my last post! On my dream cycling adventure trip to Tuscany (my first time to Europe), everything went terribly wrong. 3rd day of dreamy trip on Mother’s Day my cycling mate crashed right in front of me and I had nowhere to go. To the right cars or to the left a wall and I decided to throw my arm out towards the wall to save my head. I ended up breaking the two major bones in my right wrist. I have been busy healing from some pretty major wrist surgery. Membership has been a bit delayed and I apologize!! I have just hired my girls to help : ) In my opinion, moms should never ever get sick or injured. It should never be allowed! Still my girls come to me for everything. Life of mom!
Excited Moxie Moms is still going strong!
Thanks a bunch for your support : )

Crayons to Calculators is a school-supply drive created to ensure that local students head back to school with the tools they need to succeed.
Why we do it: There are more than 15,000 kids in the Boulder Valley and St. Vrain Valley school districts who qualify for free and reduced lunch—an indicator of poverty. The cost of basic school supplies ($60–$120 per student), presents a financial burden for many of these kids’ families. Crayons to Calculators aims to cut that cost and move one step closer to eliminating the achievement gap. Having the right school supplies is a critical first step to help a student achieve higher literacy levels, improve academic performance, and graduate. It also enables schools to operate more effectively.
Volunteer Info: Volunteer shifts are Monday-Thursday 10am–12pm and 1pm–3pm.
Location: Mesa Elementary School Cafeteria, 1575 Lehigh St., Boulder, CO. 80305
Follow the Crayons to Calculators signs into the cafeteria.
