How long have you been in business in Colorado?
Founded in 1995 by a teacher and lifelong naturalist, Wild Bear Nature Center has connected people to nature for 28 years, and has served hundreds of thousands of people of all ages through its nature education and hands-on programs.

Inspiring a lifelong connection to nature and community through creative exploration of the outdoors.
What do you specialize in?
Wild Bear’s roots began with high-quality children’s programs, providing children’s nature enrichment outside of school hours. Wild Bear has grown over the years and has built a strong reputation as a go-to resource for people of all ages across the Front Range to access nature education and explore wild mountain ecology.
What is one tip or a special treat our Moxie Moms Members should consider when taking advantage of your goods or services?
Wild Bear provides shuttles to and from Boulder to the nature center (based on sufficient sign-ups, or 3+ registrations), and it’s not too late to book summer camps at Wild Bear! Check out all summer programs here. Looking for activities for your kids when BVSD has days off from school? Wild Bear has wonderful programs for kids during no school days: check out Nature Adventure Days, for kids 5-12, from 8am – 4pm. There are still openings for Wild Bear Nature Adventure Days over spring break! For younger kids 3-5, join Wild Bear’s Bear Cubs program every Wednesday for a hands-on exploration of several different nature topics.

Wild Bear is completing a longtime vision to build its permanent home at the gateway to thousands of wild acres on the northern boundary of Nederland, CO. The new Wild Bear Nature Center, an 8,500sq ft. net zero nature center, will open in the fall of 2024.
